To think Summer isn't all that?
Not like we all get June/ July/ August off work.

I love it because I'm off July and August.

I don't like Summer either. I like weather around 20 to 23c

Anything above that, I would like air con

Yes the crazy 40c heatwaves the last few summers have been unbearable.!"!

No need to be above 24c - dangerous too.

There is not one part of it I don’t love. May - Late September is just perfect for me.

TuesdayWhistler · 15/05/2024 15:36

Summer is just so moist.
I hate it.

I don't mind cold
I don't mind snow
I don't mind rain

I don't like moist.

the80sweregreat · 15/05/2024 16:02

Definitely overrated.
I can't bear it too hot , you can't sleep and it's sometimes unbearable being hot and sweaty
I actually dread it.

Allfur · 15/05/2024 16:03

Love all the seasons

Life is so much easier with small kids when it's not cold and rainy. I do know what you mean though - there's an influx of "back to work" fashion retailer emails at the end of August and 99% of us have been at work the whole time! I grew up watching American films where everyone spent "summer" doing interesting things. We don't really have that culture.

weegiemum · 15/05/2024 16:23

I love summer. I have a degenerative neurological disorder which is worse - more painful - in the cold, so summer is much easier to deal with.

That said, I love winter too. My birthday and Christmas and snuggling up!

I love spring and autumn as well.

I'm a season tart, I love them all for different reasons!

It has rained in the UK for the past 8 months - that was moist!

I love summer - the 3 days we get! I work 7-3 so enjoy summer evenings!
