Did I get this wrong?

Not a big deal but unsure if I misunderstood or if dh did. Last night we had this conversation;

Me sat watching the BAFTAs. Dh comes in and sits next to me.

Dh What you watching ?
Me The BAFTAs
Dh oh right (sounds unimpressed)
Me You can put something else on if you want (remotes are in reach)
Dh Oh good

Dh then gets his phone out and looks at it. I watch a bit more BAFTAs.

Me It's weird I've not heard of half these shows
Dh I don't know why your watching it
Me I said we can put something else on

Dh continues to look at his phone. I watch for another ten minutes or so

Me that's that couple from the show we are watching, we need to finish that.
Dh We could have watched it tonight
Me if you want something else on why haven't you changed the channel?
Dh You have the remotes
Me they are there! (Literally in arms reach)
Dh I thought you would look
Me You want to change the channel why would I look through and pick something for you?
Dh I thought we would choose together
Me I already looked , I choose this

Dh spends 30 seconds looking through tv guide then slams remotes down and says 'it doesn't matter' (clearly annoyed)

I have asd so I don't always pick up on nuances in conversation. But did I say something to make dh think I would pick another tv show. ?

Btw he was fine by time we went to bed I'm just not sure if it was me!

No, he was being a bit ridiculous. It’s a bit of a non-event, though. Sometimes people are just a bit silly. I often am on Sunday evenings. 😊

Thanks ☺️ we had a busy day so he was definitely tired and grumpy but I was unsure if it was me. I could have got into it further with him but we probably would have argued
