Am I the only person who didn’t see the norther lights?

I live in Reading but didnt bother to go outside cause I assumed light pollution would prevent me from seeing anything. Plus I have an elderly cat that tends to bolt out the door.

Sad that I missed it as it is all over social media.

I have a bit of FOMO too but they really didn’t look like that to the naked eye at all! So people’s photos are better

I'm gutted to have missed them. The article I read said they would be visible as far south as Nottingham. I didn't bother to stay up as we are in Surrey. I woke up to loads of amazing pictures from neighbours.

We missed them when we went to Lapland by a few hours. Grrrr.

I was still outside at gone 2am this morning but didn’t see anything, although it was a beautiful starry sky & looked amazing with full exposure on my phone camera. Going to look again tonight.
