The Tattooist of Auschwitz

A great book, but the actual accuracy is sketchy.

What Genre @mathsahh? A celebrity biography would be very different to an historical account of the first world War for example.

Touching the Void by Joe Simpson.

YankSplaining · 08/05/2024 23:25

The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute by Zac Bissonnette

My other recommendations are true crime - not sure if you’re interested in that, but I can give you those if you want.

Something that I really loved and stayed with me for ages, the biography of Maria Callas. Opera singer who had a long love affair with Aristotle Onassis. Her life was fascinating and I'm not hugely interested in opera at all.
