As will the Labour Party??

As a none event political party, the Liberals or whatever they are called these days - you may recall their drum-beating Manifesto /PROMISE, re STUDENT Fees 😂- the rest is history😂

The example above re liberal party promises can be very easily applied to the others - Therefore, if you are Tory/Labour, etc and you believe a single word they word that comes out of their mouths, then all I can do is..

😂

Don’t you have other stuff to do with your one precious life?

I do think that a big problem with politics is that especially with the FPTP system, politicians end up trying to appeal to enough people to enable them to get into power or hold onto it.
I don't think all politicians are equally corrupt / hateful / divisive etc.
And if nothing else, when it's clear that one lit are utterly disastrous, it's clear it's worth giving someone else a go.

The FPTP is the best sytem imo as it keeps out the the seriously extreme groups.

I've noted over the years, that even those who had the benefit of the doubt about being different to the mass of them, get quite comfortable and often forget those that voted them in

Liberal promised to remove student fees as a result got a mass of vote and did the impossible, went into number 10. The first thing they did even before agreeing to join in the coalition party in order to get to number 10 was break their major promise to remove student fees.

They are all the same, trust me
