to be fed up that my big night out plans have been changed without anyone consulting me?

have a big night out planned for sat - have been looking forward to it for ages as will be meeting up with crowd of friends i havent seen in ages... including a bloke who i am quite keen on (and vice versa) but havent seen since becoming single!

we are meeting in west london where some friends live and (i thought) going to pub/club then those of us who are not local crashing at travelodge or similiar (as friends who live there cant put us all up - long story)

sent two friends i am going up there with a text today to ask if we had sorted out accomodation etc and got a reply saying oh no we decided wouldnt bother and will come home by train to friend 1's flat in east london(where i will have to sleep on lounge floor as only one bedroom and sofa covered with 'decorating' stuff!

this means will have about 2 hours in the pub after it will take me the same amount of time to get there (!) and will have no sleep due to hard floor (rather than nice hotel bed as expected!)

i know i shouldnt moan as at least i am going out, and i will probably have a good time, but i wish i had been consulted....my other friends are single and whilst not weatlhy are not broke so i dont think cost was the problem!

I hate to say it, but if you want something doing, you're best off doing it yourself. Perhaps you could have planned / booked the travelodge option? Is it too late to do that now??

hello, do any of your friends have children? If they dont then in my experience they will fail to grasp the importance and arrangements that go into a night out when you are a working single mum. It is not like you can just go out whenever you want. If they do have children then they have not been very thoughtful, but thats just my opinion. Hope you have a good time and you meet the man. enjoy

can you still book into the travel lodge yourself?
