Wanting to be told if my kids are somewhere

Hello all so long story short my daughter got sick Thursday and she missed school today because she was still under the weather. Also today my other daughter had a school trip I was to help chaperone. I asked my brother if he could watch my daughter since she couldn't go to school and he agreed and I'm thankful. But now I hear my daughter ended up leaving to go with my sister. I called constantly to check on her while on the school trip and no one told me anything. Aibu for being upset about this? Anything could have happened and I was not aware that she even left from being with my sister. My daughter is still in a booster and the whole time she was out she was not in her booster. My family knows I'm really big on my babies safety. This makes me so uncomfortable.

Are you alright, @AliceOlive ? Your posts are so peculiar.

Not really! I’m completely confused by your posts.

Best not respond, in that case. None of them were directed at you.

Oh, look, I've been deleted! Whatever for, I wonder?

Well you quoted me and tagged me so that was not obvious. Thanks for the clarification.

Your posts are making zero sense to me now. 🤷‍♀️

All posters outside the UK are the OP? Wha?

No. Let me explain what I meant and what I think Starlight was meaning too.

Over the last few weeks there have been a lot of new posters from outside the U.K. turning up making odd posts and getting rather defensive when challenged. Some of those posts have been deleted as trolls.

I saw that someone was but didn’t think it was your post.

Troll hunting is against guidelines. Piling on and questioning ridiculous details should be also, but alas.

Living in another country doesn’t make anyone a fraud.

MinervaMcGonagallsCat · 04/05/2024 18:09

Indeed - ridiculous details like positing that the OP's sister may be a drunk eh? 😜

Was it that confusing for you?

@AliceOlive

Ah bless.

To be fair, op had already confirmed that her one and only issue was not being consulted.

What I don’t understand is that if she wad frequently checking on her DD that no one mentioned to her that she was now in the care of her sister. Surely you’d say.

None of this makes sense tbh
