Late in the day but plenty go in the evening

Just been and the woman in front of me was turned away as sue had no id

I'd totally forgotten too and had to nip back home - a good reminder op!

As the only election taking place in my area is for the PCC I won't be bothering. This adds nothing to my life, and costs the country over £100m a year. Which must pay for 2,000 or so actual police officers ;)

If it's not too far, go, spoil your ballot paper and say PCC is a waste of money - one way to make your view known - and rest assured they'll see it because spoilt / uncertain ballots are pulled out and seen by candidates and their agents so they can confirm that it's not a valid vote for them or another candidate.

That's a fair point, but I would hope the abymsal turn out (which was 35% last time) will also send a similar message!!
