Aibu for being upset because I have to ask my partner to help with monthly finances? I'm sorry but I don't think those things have to be asked for along with household duties.

If you live together you should split everything fairly. If you’ve been together more than a year and you can’t agree about money and domestic chores, it’s time to end the relationship.

Key rule for relationships: respect is at least as important as love, and maybe more important. Someone who doesn’t respect you doesn’t love you.
