so just a lil rant as trying to keep it together for the family
i posted few months ago about my mums death (and brothers grabiness)
in the 3months since my smil has been told she has cancer too, tbh im strugglingwith how i feel about this as shes not a nice person
then few weeks ago my very lovely mil got a chest infection,it lingered and she was admitted to hospital a week or so ago. she seemed to be ok then BAM! dh told to go up with her dh, theyre told think she may have covid.
docs not too fussed
12.30am got that phone call, shes passed away
my dh is heartbroken, kids still struggling with my mums passing and 1 starts exams this week

why cant we just have a little break??!

I’m sorry that sounds tough. I’m going to lose my mum in the next month or so, it’s so hard isn’t it. I can’t stop bursting into tears. Dd is about to do GCSEs and I’ve been unwell for the last 3 weeks with an autoimmune condition.
The sunshine is giving me a little bit of joy today, and hugs from my dc. I hope you can find something to lift your spirits if only for a little bit.

I'm so sorry, that sounds so very hard. Sorry for the loss of your mum and mother in law xxx

Oh gosh op, I’m so sorry. What a year you’ve had so far, you’ve every right to have a rant.

I’ve no real advice, other than to make sure you’re all supported in your grief (a relative used Cruise when she lost someone and I know they were good, but this was several years ago).

Virtual hugs to you and to the poster above going through a tough time too.
