Then people should also be reported for calling someone a r tard as it’s disabled hate crime. Obviously I agree with neither but my work has report a patient for being racist and not the one who used a slur against disabled. I will note the r word was said to a person with asd so particular clear to me that it’s also hate crime.

Did the person who used the R word know the person that called it has ASD?
Sometimes people use it as a word to describe someone who they perceive to be stupid, for whatever reason. It can just be a general insult, and not a targeted slur due to disability.
