To ask if you've ever been to eurocamp (or any other suggestions?)

I'm thinking of taking my 3yo to something like a euro camp. Has anyone ever been and was it worth it?

It just seems so much cheaper than a standard holiday via something like on the beach or whatever.

My only problem is they all seem to be located absolutely miles away (as in hours away) from major airports and I was hoping to fly rather than drive.

I've seen a few in france that look nice but they all seem to be located near airports I can't get to from Manchester/Liverpool.

Are there any other companies doing this sort of holiday you've tried and tested? Preferably flown to easily?

I'm booking alone so bit daunting!!

Could you train instead? More options that way. We've done Siblu, Yelloh and euro camp many times. They're great for kids. Always drive though.

We went to Bella Italia in Italy, as it was so close to the airport we didn’t need a car, just got a taxi. Walking distance to a lovely town along the shore of lake Garda.

First time Eurocamp, wouldn’t do that again as the vans were quite tired (but it was a while ago). Went with Select Camp the second time, much better, but the best vans on site were Human Travel ones.

I drove to France on a multi centre holiday and it was fantastic… having the car opened so many different options for things to do aswell!

The problem is we live about 5 hours away from the ferry port and I just don't fancy that drive with a toddler by myself. I really would prefer to fly I think!

We've flown to a couple. Yes, they were great holidays with that sort of age kids.

I seem to remember there being a well hidden filter for flying.

Yes but my tip is not to book through eurocamp. Their mobile homes tend to be older, less well equipped and they are.more expensive. If you see a site you like look at their own website and book directly. It's is almost always cheaper.

We've done several in France and Italy. Our experience is that Italian sites are better - cleaner, better equipped and friendlier than (particularly southern french sites).
