Mesa Sunrise cereal with milk and blueberries and a Bonne Maman madeleine
Some delicious coffee cake made by a friend
Lettuce, cucumber and carrot salad, brown rice and quinoa, cashew nuts, an egg, hummus and Parmesan
Wholewheat pasta with homemade red pepper pesto and peas and some ricotta
Homemade Reese's cup - peanut butter mixed with maple syrup and kefir, frozen and then covered in dark chocolate. Very tasty! Also had some squirty cream on top.

@preggo39 That all sounds delicious.

For lunch I had half a crust with Philly, some peas nuts and a couple of pretzel sticks.

Dinner will be chicken risotto if I can get the energy together. It's so hot. (Not that I'm complaining )

Treelichen · 26/06/2024 14:08

@BouleDeSuif lavender jelly sounds interesting. I did cook the chicken risotto except it's more chicken pilaf. Couldn't be fussed with all that stirring. Had it with Parmesan cheese on top and pan fried in butter courgettes. There's left over for today. (I will reheat safely!).

BouleDeSuif · 27/06/2024 09:22

@SittingontheSidelines it's lovely, I've got loads of gooseberries and lavender in the allotment this year so I experimented. I was a bit concerned whilst making it that it would taste like soap but it doesn't!

Iamthemoom · 27/06/2024 14:01

B: coconut yoghurt with chopped nectarine. 3 black coffees!
L: Greek salad (homemade) lettuce, cucumber, feta, tomato, black olives.
D: (will be) chicken breast and salad.

Having a good day! Mainly as it's too hot to feel properly hungry here!

BobbyBiscuits · 27/06/2024 15:19

@preggo39 I'm loving the homemade Reese's cups!! The actual real ones, the chocolate is pretty crap. I always think US choc tastes like soap!

Yesterday I had
Tea with 2 sugs
Small tuna and salad roll (tuna was shite, stick to the Tesco no drain one in future!)
Loads of plain kettle chips
A couple of cheese and garlic twists (the dry ones)
Slice of pepperoni pizza and half a garlic pizza bread from pizza pilgrims. (Definitely recommend if it's near you!)
Several white wines

today had a tea and a belvita strawberry and cream biscuit. Too lazy to move so having a wine now..lol

Yesterday I had...

Usual Mesa Sunrise cereal with blueberries
Coffee and a madeleine

A brownie from a nearby bakery - delicious
Risotto and a lettuce, cucumber, carrot and walnut salad (risotto was out of a packet as no time to cook - baby was v unhappy in heat)
A couple of Lu biscuits

@SittingontheSidelines That looks very tasty!

@BobbyBiscuits I think US chocolate smells like piss!

BobbyBiscuits · 27/06/2024 16:04

@preggo39 or vomit!? Lol. Apparently they had to make it so it could travel long distances by train, so it's got some weird shit in it to stop it melting!
Btw which packet risotto did you use? I used to get one from the Italian shop but I forget the name. I think there was one that was really nice but I forget which?

preggo39 · 27/06/2024 16:14

@BobbyBiscuits Absolutely gross.

I get the Gallo cheese flavour one and I really rate it. Great quick meal when you can't be bothered/don't have time. Nice with a side of peas!

BobbyBiscuits · 27/06/2024 16:17

@preggo39 I'll have try it. I'm quite fond of mushroom ones I think.

Yeah, sorry to gross you out about the other thing, lol
