Please share your daily meals again! Chateaubriand or pot noodle, eat like a bird, eat like a queen?

Yesterday mine was..
2 almond and fig cookies (homemade, gf)
2 coffees with monin syrup
Baked chicken with potatoes, carrots, peppers, garlic, onions. And cauliflower and peas.
4 glasses white wine, ooops?!

Brunch: an apple and a fishfinger sandwich

Snacks: a bag of squares and a tea cake

Dinner: Greek baked prawns with feta and tomatoes, salad and bread

L. Jacket spud with hummus & some lentil & roast carrot salad
S. Apple with peanut butter, iced coffee
D. Salmon with asparagus, courgette & fries
S. Date & a square of chocolate
Basically I've not stopped eating all day

Gotta love a food post.

Breakfast very early T 5.30Am. Coffee wirh skimmed milk and a protein bagel with butter and marmite.

I was super busy at work and didn't eat my lunch until about 2. It was a mixed salad with salami and eggs.

Loads of water-probably about 5 litres. Another coffee.

Dinner about 5ish was a protein bagel and chicken and avocado.

More water.

L: 2 hard boiled eggs chopped up with mayo
S: white chocolate cookie (ok 2), tea
D: veggie chilli I think, with loads of mixed beans, peppers, coriander, creme fraiche, grated cheese

Oatmeal bread with gooseberry jam
Lunch was a mushroom omelette, cucumber, peppers, celery, walnuts and beans in BBQ dressing, couple of biscuits
Dinner- chicken soup with carrot and beetroot added to it, croutons, couple more biscuits. (I made shortbread.)

This thread is weirdly making me feel better as I am currently really struggling to eat (cancer related). After a recent admission to hospital I lost a bit of weight & my oncologist told me I need to really try & keep it up to avoid being referred to a dietician. It’s hard as I have very little appetite at the moment 😩. This might help to motivate me.

Today was:
B- 2 x weetabix with a strawberry activia yoghurt & full fat milk
DD’s half eaten nectarine
Cup of tea
L- prawn tempura, avo sushi (one of the few things I fancy)
Glass of tropical juice
D- 1 1/2 fish fingers, oven chips & peas
No snacks or desserts as unusually I just don’t fancy them.

The kids are ill and I've been cleaning, soothing, holding vomit bowls all day. So I've just eaten crap

Breakfast was banana. It went downhill from there.

Ham, cheese, cucumber, mustard, mayo sandwich on white bread
Half a cheese baton with salami and more cheese
Two salami sticks
Two big Co-op milk chocolate cookies

@Wheredidallthecowboysgo the biggest hugs for you, I hope you have a better day tomorrow. Can you try adding more fat to things so even if you don’t want to eat much, it’s still adding calories? E.g avocado toast, Greek yogurt smoothies etc?

today I’ve had:

B: banana, protein shake, coffee
L: smoked mackerel with rice and kimchi (leftovers)
D: salmon with a big bulghur wheat salad
snacks: two apples, iced coffee

Piece seeded roast with peanut butter, Danone drinking yogurt and a Berocca

Tin carrot and butter bean soup, piece of toast chopped as croutons

Chopped apple with teaspoon walnut butter

Cod in butter sauce with mashed potato and Brussels sprouts

3 pieces of Toblerone

Lots of tea and some water

Thank you all for your posts, making me hungry as usual!

Today was a bit of a bust. Ok ISH smoked salmon and cream cheese 'bagel' (seemed a bit more like roll with a hole!?)
Tons of wine..
No snacking as have to bleach my teeth every night for an hour and it fucking hurts... 🙄

Sunday had a wicked 4 course meal though.

Salad w beetroot, lentils smoked salmon, hummus, carrots, chicken and tomato stew, New pots, peas, then 2 types of cheese, and lemon drizzle cake. Shizzle. Lol.

Today was:

Coffee x 2
2 crumpets with Brussels pate and some cherry tomatoes.
Spinach and ricotta tortellini with bacon, asparagus, and a butter and lemon sauce.
Orange squash, wine.

Thank you @MotherWol, that’s so kind. Yes I was thinking I need to do this more. I put nut butter in my smoothies but Greek yoghurt is a good idea. I need to find some snacks that keep my appetite going too. It sounds like a nice problem to have but it isn’t when you don’t feel like eating!

L: Toasted bagel with cream cheese, grilled crispy bacon, avocado
S: 3 x salt and vinegar ricecakes
D: Planning a cauliflower cheese grill (current obsession from tesco freezer section) with coleslaw, & salad of leaves, tomatoes, seeds, olive oil. Maybe a big spoonful of ramona's houmous too. Then some greek yogurt and honey after.
