Killer Tune...

Killmewithatune · 20/04/2024 11:44

If I were to ask for a song/tune that would irritate the hell out of you being played on repeat whilst you ate out at a restaurant what would it be?
Name change for this as may be outing
Background:
Next door restaurant has decided to build an extensive extention without planning permission or building control, 6ft from my house. Opening very soon.
Council are 'Currently dealing with a high volume of incidents' so can't investigate immediately (and are bloody useless)
Would AIBU to play loud music every time they use the extra seating...and give me an appropriate tune I can play?
Just to add, this is actually giving me sleepless nights and I'm at my wits end with it, but need to do something so I don't actually do something criminal.

That Beyoncé song 😤

TerrorAustralis · 21/04/2024 07:21

Crazy Frog

Years ago there was a party across the road from us and they must have played What Is Love by Haddaway about 20 times during the night. Honestly, I’m still scarred by the experience and cannot hear that song without reliving the trauma.

shellyleppard · 21/04/2024 07:27

We will rock you by queen or bohemian rhapsody. Failing that thunder by ACDC, guaranteed to rattle the rafters 🤣🤣

FabulousWealthyTart · 21/04/2024 07:32

Built this City by Starship

tanstaafl · 21/04/2024 07:37

Monster Mash
Baby Shark.

Toxicity by System of a Down

when asked to turn it down/ off, play Rage against the Machine’s Killing in the Name Of whilst simultaneously sitting in the garden with noise cancelling headphones on.

Thepinkyponkc · 21/04/2024 07:39

Did you knock on their door and say, "Hey there don't hurt me ... don't hurt me ... no more" ?

My Achey Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus. And block the entrance to the restaurant whilst doing the associated line dance until they cease and desist. As a fellow neighbour of never ending ear shattering renovation work, I feel your pain.
