Would you raise an eyebrow? Can’t work as teenager sick

Lovely sunny day (destined to be busy) at a visitor attraction and a key team member (head chef) phoned to say they couldn’t come in as their child had a migraine (16 in a couple of months).

Child is not neuro diverse and no other issues raised about their physical/mental health (which appears otherwise good).

Would you raise an eyebrow?

At my very worst the increased pain in my head from vomiting caused me to pass out.
I came round on the bathroom floor.
I could have choked on my own vomit!!!!
I am medicated against them and I have fewer to worry about.
If anyone was suffering a migraine like I used to I would not leave them alone.

Sometimes I can look at a screen. Sometimes I just need a distraction from the pain and boredom.

I have chronic migraine so rarely have a day off from either a full blown migraine or some combination of symptoms.

I’m not going to judge how anyone gets through it.

My last one I could look at my phone despite feeling sick and ill and eventually puking. It depends on the individual. Other ones I have had I wouldn't have been able to.

You can get migraine with just disturbed vision and a headache. Usually it is a warning for a bigger one but sometimes it isn't but you can function.

I'd be suspicious that the child is not ill at all to be honest. Does the team member have a record of being sick at busy times, or being very selective in their requests for days off?

Then surely it’s pointless as nobody is responding to what actually happened?

Well especially if its not actually a migraine teen... broken leg/arm teen, of course no issue if sm...
