‘Working Dad’

I saw a meme that asked if any man has ever been referred to as a ‘working Dad’ and I realised I had never used this nor would I.

AIBU in thinking we need to stop using ‘working Mum’ as a default definition?

YABU - No, there is no problem here
YANBU - Working Mum is an outdated term and we should stop using.

You are not being unreasonable!

We need equality - so we either refer to working mums AND working dads or just mums and dads! Not one or the other...

It really made me realise how I’d never referred to my male friends with kids that way, even when they have very young children.

I never say working mum. In what context even?
to describe a friend I would say: “Lucy has two kids and works as a teacher”

not sure what working mum even means, all mums work!
