Shocked by Sharon Osbourne's appearance

I recently saw a photo of her- she looks ill and aged. Apparently down to Ozempic - she hasn’t been able to put weight on since she stopped taking it. A shame as she was an attractive woman

Would the posters who've said she looks several variations of awful like to share a picture of yourselves so we can judge your looks? Or is it only fair game if you're rich and famous?

For ages I’ve thought Sharon is ill. I don’t think she wants anyone to know and so has used the diet pills story as an excuse. Cosmetic Surgery doesn’t suddenly make you very thin either.
I hope she’s ok.

I dont need to champion them, I dont use them, I have briefly in the past for obesity

However my OH, along with countless other patients are on the exact same medication for diabetes.

Think about what you say when you say these are 'dangerous' and criticising their use, they are a medical tool that millions of people are prescribed.

It has got me thinking - that it's one thing to take this medication and lose weight - BUT, as she herself said in the quoted above, there a physical consequences at the outset; maybe once those have passed, a chemical change HAS taken place which will result in even decent food not being absorbed at all. With no appetite and no absorption, there will definitely be changes beneath the surface so to speak. And they may be very long lasting, as she is discovering.

Unless she is a medical anomaly, it just doesnt work like that

It’s interesting how perceptions vary. I don’t have an opinion on whether or not she has had surgery and how that looks, but I do think she looks significantly underweight to the point of looking unwell. I would say the same whatever age she was- she is too thin. (But some younger people can carry off being too thin in a way that older people can’t).

Looks aside she does nothing but drag and criticism others especially younger women

Her face is strange from all the plastic surgery, but it's the Hollywood look, they all have it and it's so so strange. It doesn't look good. She has publicly said she went too far.

A saying I once heard that once you get your a certain age you choose between your face or your arse . I'm overweight and people think I'm younger than I am but I know if I was as slim as I once was I would look haggard .

She was put on ozempic at a healthy weight, which was medically and ethically wrong. Particularly at her age, where a good body weight is really important.
I feel sorry for her daughter Kelly as she seems to have inherited the same body image issues.
I feel sad that there are all these amazing successful women in constant battle with their bodies.

I know a number of women in their 70s, and they look way better than Sharon Osborne does now. As will I. In fact, all the women I know in their 80s, and 90s look better than her.

You're deluded if you think Sharon Osborne looks 'better than most pensioners.' I'm actually cringing for you.

You said Sharon looks 'better than most pensioners,' which is laughable, because you don't know most pensioners 😆. Utterly ludicrous comment from you!

I know a few who are taking metformin to lose weight (not diabetic) both men and women and yes they are thinner than ever. But also look a lot older and weathered if that makes sense

lol at the posters saying see what you look like at 71. You’re missing the point, it’s not about her age it’s about her dramatic self inflicted weight loss which she herself is warning others against. It’s like something from the hunger games.

I don’t know how I’ll look at 71 but I certainly won’t be taking medication I don’t need to lose weight I don’t need to lose.

Not sure the weight loss itself is the problem looks wise, more that she's shrunk but the plastic bits haven't. Her cheek bones are now way too big for her. A cautionary tale about plastic surgery.
