PT charge full session

I had to cancel my PT session at the last minute (was at 16.00) because I couldn't shake off a terrible headache.

I was going to go anyway but was getting ready and felt dizzy. I'm 15 weeks pregnant and it's definitely related.

If was hot in my home office today which is in the loft and I didn't stop for a lunch break so I could fit in my PT. Whilst I did eat lunch I was in that hot office all day.

I really didn't want to cancel but as quite worried I would make myself worse if I went.

More than 3 hours on it was the right call. It's becoming more of a migraine and food, pain killers/water/garden doors open haven't helped.

I haven't don't this before so don't know if it's normal but I've been charged the full session for not giving 12 hours notice.

Can someone tell me if this is normal. Maybe it is. She said she stayed at work because of my booked session.

I’m a PT and if less than 24 hours notice is given I don’t reschedule tho I will if I can. I implemented this rule after being messed around by so many clients and some were actually expecting a refund because I couldn’t fit them in another slot after they decided they couldn’t make their usual time.
