To keep going back to bed?

I am a single parent of 3 and work full time but through a stressful change of plans this week, I have only my teenager with me and am not working these 3 days. I have 3476 things to do on my list, I'm in hospital for a small procedure on Friday, I need to get stuff done!

But I just crept back into bed after walking the dog and I absolutely cannot motivate myself to get up.

It was the same yesterday afternoon when I got back and 'lay down for a minute'.

AIBU to just have a duvet day even though I should be doing the many many life admin and housekeeping tasks I have..?!

As I've got older I have definitely learned that rest is as important as anything else on a to do list.

Take the rest, you clearly need it!

Sometimes all your body, mind and soul needs you to do is..... nothing.

Enjoy the rest!!!

💕 giving myself permission! (Although when teen awakes I might wrestle out and do a couple of things..)

I have achieved nothing at all with my days off and just wasted time in bed. I really hate that I've not done anything in this precious time and back to work Monday with all 3 home and busy and nothing useful done. 😫😫😫
