Neighbours think my drive is a right of way

Pic attached.

I live in a row of terreced houses. My house (1) has a path to the front door and a drive way next to my house. Houses 2-5 share a path that leads to the road. There is a strip of grass in front of their houses and then their parking spaces.

Neighbours in house 2 used to walk over the grass to their front door to avoid going the long way up the path. They (and their guests) have now taking to walking down my driveway along my path and jumping over the flower bed in the middle to get to their door. It's really pissing me off! It's my property being treated as a right of way and they walk right past my living room window so there is no privacy. But it's also not causing any damage or inconvenience. Just annoying as hell.

AIBU to ask them to stop using my property as a public footpath? Or do I just need to suck it up?

As Robert Frost said "good fences make good neighbours", I'd run a fence up your driveway and across the front of your garden (too high to jump/climb over, low enough not to block your view) and a locking gate on the walkway. You could either run it up to your doorstep or add something thorny to the flower bed.

It occurred to me that if you put anything up or grow anything to stop them using it , it will stop you being able to use it, can you get a gate put up?

Not really. Putting something in the bed they jump over between houses won't affect the OP as the OP doesn't need to ever jump that bed.
Putting something in the way like a fence so other people can't easily get past the cars once the cars are parked won't affect the OP either as they don't need to pass that way to the house

You only need to put a tiny bit of fence where I've put the RED line. Then grow prickly or taller plants in the beds.

They won't be able to get through

I think we need an update

Plant hawthorn in the flower bed. We have one and refer to it as "the tree of hate" for its ability to tear shreds out of anyone who gets too close.

So did you buy the composite bags to put behind your car? Have you broken their habit? Do tell please.
