Do you think she was taken advantage of ? By older BF ,and also Silicon Valley wanting their first female billionaire .Or a ruthless woman out for all she could get? At a young age ,did she fit the criteria for a woman CEO. YABU she deserves all she gets .YANBU she was made a scapegoat in a mans world .

I voted YABU, but not according to the criteria you set out.

I think it’s a bit of both. From what I’ve read about her and from the TV series about her, she sounds extremely driven to make as much money as possible, so I think that was definitely a factor.

I also think she was a bit naive, because she seemed so certain that her product would work, despite getting lots of advice that it wouldn’t (and lots of advice that it would).

There could’ve also been an element of her being manipulated by her boyfriend, from what I’ve read, as it sounds like he gave her a list of ‘instructions’ to live by to help her become a CEO. That’s up for debate though. It could be that he thought he was helping her by doing this or that he just wanted fo mold her in his image and make her do what he wanted her to.

I think ultimately her desire to get extremely rich very young and very quickly led her to invent this product that actually wasn’t at all fit for purpose or a realistic invention. That’s just my
opinion though.

I think she was on a rollercoaster that never stopped. She was given a Superwoman label and had to live up to it . She and Sunny were as bad as each other .

Her poor kids.

Acapulco12 Yes thats what I thought really, she seemed set on a path to become as rich as possible as quickly as she could .Her parents and Sunny seemed determined to push her in this .I also felt that if only she had stayed at Stanford ,she would be earning a good amount now and have risen to a high position(Not billlionaire obv !)
