I’m looking to take DS who is 4 years old and DD, who is now 2 weeks old but will be 4months, on holiday in June. I want to go before she is mobile and able to walk (scream, demand snacks, pull stuff down etc ) and all of the other delightful toddler business we’ve got to look forward to!

We want a shorter plane time, stuff for 4 year old kid to do but don’t really want the bad food and English pub vibe of Canary Islands - not judging, been several times for cheap beer and karaoke - but want to actually eat some decent food and enjoy another culture not another England on Sea holiday.

Any suggestions wonderful knowledgeable mumsnetters?

The 'bad food and English pub' thing is about the resort really. I've been to places in the Canaries with none of that.

Mallorca, just don't go to Magaluf or Palma Nova.
