Is it too narrow?

Im looking at buying a 1950s house, only viewing atm which I really like but the living room is very narrow, 19 feet long and 7 feet wide.

Am I being unreasonable to discount it because of the narrow living room?

That IS narrow, but not impossible depending on if you can make the space work for you. How did you feel when you viewed it?

I thought it was really nice. I mean yeh I could put a TV on the wall and sofa maybe alongside opposite wall

It wouldn’t be for me - I hate long narrow rooms with all furniture along one wall… but it’s not my house.
