To hate flared or wide trousers (light hearted)

I also hate tiers on dresses and ones with no sleeves. Have the designers not looked at the weather recently.

I just have trauma flashbacks of going to XLs nightclub aged 20 with ridiculously wide legged jeans, them dragging along the ground and getting soggy to the knees.

I also remember walking to sixth form in the rain in flares/bootcut jeans and my trousers ending up soaked to the knees (maybe this is where the ombre look that was in in the early 2000s came from...)

I've been wearing flared leggings a bit lately, they make my figure look great. Even my teenage dd complimented me the other day in a new pair I was wearing and when she does it you know you look good.

I hate wide legged trousers because they make me look short and fat and I fear them since I got my foot caught in the opposite flapping leg walking up some steps and almost broke my neck.

I think when I see VB in floor skimming trousers...the hem must get wrecked particularly the white trousers.
