Have you had your tonsils out?

Currently got tonsilitis, feeling sorry for myself as missing out on Easter celebrations! Just wondering for others who get tonsilitis as an adult have you thought about having them out? I know it’s not as common to have done now compared to years ago but I hate tonsilitis!

I had mine out at 7. After suffering a lot with them.

I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was 10.I still get sore throats but obviously not tonsillitis.

Yes, in my 20's. I had to repeatedly ask for a referral. I was getting tonsillitis monthly at that stage, each infection getting worse. Getting them out was the best thing I did, I'm so glad I pushed for a referral. The recovery was quite hard though.

Mine grew back. I didn't know that could happen.
