I live in a terrace house. It's a normal street and no-one has any more rights to park than anyone else. I usually park outside my house and my husband parks his car down the side street around the corner. Or visa versa. When I park outside my house I either reverse around the corner or simply drive off depending how my car is facing. Sometimes neither of us can park there as its first come first served. But that's perfectly fine.
There is double yellows straight after where we park as its right near the end of the road.
That brings me to my parking issue. Just lately nearly every evening different cars are parking on the double yellows lines behind one of our cars. This means that we obviously can't reverse round the corner/or drive away as easily. They always parks incredibly close to our car and on occasions we have been trapped in. It also means that whoever is parked on the side street we have to go further forward than we would like at the junction so we can see past the car parking on the double yellows. Sometimes they are even over hanging across the junction. Night after night. Different people. My husband mentioned it to one of them once and she said I can park where I like. Aibu to be fed up of it? I'm st a loss what I should do
