Posting here again for traffic. Im in desperate need of help!

Good evening.I am really hoping somebody can help me with this. I have a competency based interview coming up and am really struggling with one of the competencies which is 'Communications and Engagement'The answer needs to be in STARR method and I am really struggling to think of a scenario for this. Can anyone help?

The question will be along the lines of
'Tell me about a time when you have had to communicate a verbal message strongly.

My mind has gone totally blank!

Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a time you have had to communicate something to senior management either unexpectedly or present at a decision making meeting you can draw from?

What outcome were you aiming to achieve? What preparation did you do to i. make sure you got that outcome and ii. identify and mitigate potential problems? What swayed the decision makers minds (your use of evidence perhaps?)

Remember the outcome (results) gets the interview points - situation, task and actions are generally just scene setting.

For extra points add your leaning from the scenario and how you apply to the role you are interviewing for.
