Who else knew Depeche Mode were about 12!!!

I remember Depeche Mode songs really well from school discos & Top of the Pops etc in the 80s.

But I didn't really follow them, I was a bit young I think, I was more into Duran Duran, Adam & the Ants, Wham and Bananarama.

So I never paid them much attention. I just remember them as grown up men in suits.

This video popped up on Facebook today and OMFG they're babies, aren't they!! They look like they're about 12! I feel very old very proud of them all of a sudden

Did anyone else not realise this, or am I the only one?

They're older than me, and I just turned 60 😂I went to see them a couple of months ago and they've still got it.

I think the video is from 1981 and I was only 9, so I wasn't really into music at that stage. I don't think I ever saw the video. But I knew the song and whenever it was played, everyone would sing, "I just can't get enough SEX".

The song sounds every bit as good as it did back then, but Dave Gahan's dancing is hilarious .

Depeche mode were 19/20 and Paul young was 27. But yeah they look like exactly what they were, kids.
