Have you stopped to think why they’re introducing them? Behaviour has become completely unmanageable in many secondary schools now. This is one of the ways to combat it - a completely zero tolerance approach to anything that doesn’t follow the rules, down to the smallest things like uniform.

This approach has been very successful in some schools and so it seems they’re all now following it - I don’t blame them if it helps manage behaviour tbh.

I think my worry that if it's one-size fits all, then some of the things could risk excluding children, particularly any with additional needs, who should be able to participate in mainstream lessons.

My child has additional needs and desperately, desperately needs her school to bring in this discipline. She just cannot cope with the constant disruption in class. Bring it on!

Anyone of you who supported the Tories or did not vote over the last 14 years have contributed to this. When children see Boris Johnson not even following basic morals and getting away with it, for example, how else do you expect children to behave? That's before you have lazy parenting, the impact of mobile phones, social media and all the other factors.
