I have done (often) but it's not getting me anywhere because he doesn't agree it's a problem.

I should add that, when I switch it around, I can usually get a lot more in.

I'd assume it wouldn't get clean, so I'd be annoyed. Ime, it's difficult to 'train' a lazy loader to comply with your highly superior method (a.k.a. the Right Way), so it's easier in the long run to just do it yourself and ask them to take charge of some other roughly equivalent task.

I thought you were going to show a half empty dishwasher that had been put on as that’s what my DH does. And even more annoying, he will put it on (half empty) just before dinner so a). there would have been room for our dinner dishes and b). the bloody thing needs emptied before it can be filled up again.

Drives me insane but I let it go as he is generally great at his share of the chores.

I feel anxious just looking at that. Why would someone do that? I had no idea it was possible to load a dishwasher so badly.

The shape of the bowls is the issue - they are a nightmare because they don’t fit in the dishwasher rack.

Honestly even though that's a bit crap if someone else other than me fills the dishwasher I'm grateful.

It genuinely doesn’t look that bad to me! I would hate someone to criticise me for my dishwasher loading skills! Thankfully DP does it the same (apparently appalling!) way as I do!

My mum is so anal about the dishwasher that I never offer to fill hers. If things get clean, what's the problem?
