Fact of the matter is none of us are privy to the truth, this is a public forum, people are allowed to discuss and throw wild theories around. A lot of what’s said is nonsense and maybe when the truth appears it’s some benign story but until then it’s amusing to ponder the bonkers possibilities of that awfulhousehold
What I dislike is that this attitude of "we can throw wild theories around" forgets that these theories are about people's lives. It appears that the fact that you don't value the royal family is your justification for doing this.
But it's part of a much bigger issue of how people use social media. It's become ok to throw wild theories around about anyone. It stretches from accusations about the RF, to real life events like the death of Nicola Bulley, to co workers, family members and class mates. And it leads to distress and bullying. I can't see how it's possible to draw a distinction just because it's about the RF.
It's completely different to challenging political activity or debating the principles of a democracy versus a monarchy, which posters use to justy their prurient theorising.
