Its not a photo of a warzone or an actual factual news story 😂 Its a family portrait and i’d be amazed if any of the family photos of the royals are not all edited. Im sure the press do have strict rules but that doesn’t include a family photo thats released by them? Its their choice if they want to edit it?

The famous photo taken of William and Kate on their engagement cuddled in together (on every front page at the time) must have been edited by the photographer so why is this any different?

The only mistake she made was being bad at editing - next time get a professional to do it.

Two questions - why is this relevant to anything, and why today?

Of course people will speculate especially when the only recent image of her is a self edited picture - it makes you wonder what she don't want people to see.

And if it is something as simply as steroid-induced "moon face" or weight gain - which while not wanting to downplay how difficult it can be when your appearance changes beyond your control, aren't actually such a terrible or shameful thing that such lengths need to be gone to to hide them - it's going to be massively anticlimactic.

I have a lot of sympathy for Kate. She's clearly not feeling her best right now and maybe not making the best decisions because of that. I couldn't blame her for feeling oversensitive right now. But that's why royals have advisors to guide them, and I have to wonder, are the advisors giving bad advice, or are they giving good advice and being ignored?

I really dont understand the fuss of it all. Its OTT. Princess Catherine has just had a major op, and obviously recoverinv, a d perhaps this is why the photo was edited. There are no huge factors in this , and I think we should leave the family in peace, a d William ìs stepping up on as other royals do, ca t they just be left in peace. Or we could have Prince Andrew who disgraced tne ròyal lazy, etc, he seems to have forgotten, his mother bailed him out 12 million and he to keep a low profile, but now the Queen has passed away, he is walking ahead last week acting like he was in charge, whereas Princess Anne, who always been one of hardest wor,ing royals is sideline. IMO leave the William and alone, they habe enough with3 children and his b brother.

The last time this happened was when rumours were swirling regarding PoW and RC, which does seem to be the MO of the British Press - lots of innuendo until the time is right for that mic drop moment
