Sore throat especially when swallowing and a horrible taste in mouth? It's driving me batty 😵

Covid?

Is it a metallic sort of taste and constantly thirsty?
I had this for ages and it drove me nuts but went when I changed my toothpaste! I took both to my dentist and even they couldn’t explain why!

Sounds like tonsillitis? (Not a Dr though!)

I thought that but it's literally the only thing wrong apart from the usual exhaustion and foggy brain that I think is peri-menopause. Honestly, we ladies can't ever seem to catch a break 😖

Tonsillitis is going around the school I work in so I'm hoping it's just that although I do fret about my teeth (check up recently and nothing was flagged up). Is so annoying though and I thought if others have the same them maybe I'm not just driving myself mad. Thanks for the replies 🙏

There’s a nasty cold doing the rounds
I started with a scratchy throat. Then sore. Then it all went into my head and sinuses. Dry mouth. Then it went to my chest and now I have both a stuffy nose and a bad cough. Loss of taste too

However Not Covid as 3 tests negative

I’m one week in right now and I’m done with it

Tonsil stones can be very painful and smelly apparently. Can you see any white lumps on there.

I'm scared to look 🙈 I'll try to psych myself up

I had this a few weeks ago. Same thing. Not Covid. Wiped out for a weekend.

Yes I did. It was a weird taste. I was very tired and I’ve had the cough a few weeks. It wiped out a lot of the team I work on, we all had the same symptoms.
