This video seems to be doing the rounds atm - anyone seen it?

I hope it’s fake but if not, how utterly ridiculous and good on the woman for filming and publicly humiliating her partner.

No wonder so many women have bad backs if they’re cooking the day after giving birth.

WelshNerd · 09/03/2024 20:17

Oh guys, calm down.

MissJoGrant · 09/03/2024 20:21

Definitely fake.

Zanatdy · 09/03/2024 20:23

How can anyone believe this is real? The acting is terrible. Sure it goes on though, but this is as fake as it gets

Whataterror · 09/03/2024 20:40

Nah, sounds fake to me.

Bekindmyarse · 09/03/2024 22:07

I had this. Baby was 48 hours old and it was Xmas eve. She’s now 21 and we laugh about it, but at the time 😡

StrawberryJellyBelly · 09/03/2024 22:09

It’s obvious the video is staged. The guy is a terrible actor. It’s not worth a second thought.

Ace56 · 09/03/2024 23:22

Glad a lot of people seem to think it’s fake! I wasn’t sure - the woman sounds quite natural to me but the man is borderline 😂

Nevertheless, no doubt it goes on in real life, as seen by some of the posts here now

So fake. Increasingly, reels/Tik Tok have animal cruelty videos, notably baby monkeys trapped in (an obviously dead) alligator’s mouth/tree etc. Try not to click on them! This is similarly fake.

3peassuit · 09/03/2024 23:34

I bloody hope it’s fake. Are there really men like this in the world?

I haven't cooked a roast for my husband since my daughter was born...she's almost 4!! 😆

cherish123 · 10/03/2024 00:04

I did 3 days after but no one asked me to. I had to cook it or it would go out of date.

crumblingschools · 10/03/2024 00:11

@cherish123 was there no-one else who could do it?

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 10/03/2024 09:13

In the 1980s it was common for hospitals to keep some patients in after birth for a longer stay because of unreasonable expectations on them at home.

phoenixrosehere · 09/03/2024 17:12

Fake or not, there are unfortunately women who do go through this.

Yes, I do believe this is fake but true, these situations do happen.

Harls1969 · 10/03/2024 18:52

This does happen though. My ex worked evenings and would expect a roast dinner waiting for him at 11pm when we had a very young baby. He had lots of other delightful qualities too but it still took me a while to wise up and get out!

BashfulClam · 10/03/2024 18:53

It’s fake, they have cut off the end where they admit they are acting out a skit.

DisabledDemon · 10/03/2024 18:57

Make a roast? He'd be wearing the fucking roast with the gravy as an enema.

21ZIGGY · 10/03/2024 20:11

Fake as fuck

Nain5 · 10/03/2024 20:48

Whether this is fake or not I can't wondering if we women today have become a lot less tough than our ancestors. Give you good example - my grandmother went into labour on a Monday washday it was the early 1920's no fancy electric washing machines. She completed the weekly wash then got Grandad to fetch the midwife who lived next door(luckily) and within the hour had given birth to her firstborn a son weighing in at a whopping 14lb (ouch). After a couple hours rest she was up out of bed and preparing the main meal for the day. Either my gran was exceptional or they made them tougher then. She was also partially sighted. I don't think I could have done what she did.

LorlieS · 10/03/2024 21:47

@Nain5 Why the hell should she have? What was wrong with her husband?!

Smugglerstop · 10/03/2024 22:13

Definitely fake. Terrible acting. Not funny. Probably some Tate fan's idea of funny.

Nain5 · 10/03/2024 22:23

My post was really to point that modern women have got things pretty cushy compared to 100 years ago not saying it is easy now but one helluva lot easier than in the past.
