To think this is vile (hotel room)

We've come to a spa hotel for one night. There is 6 of us so have spent over £900 on rooms, treatments and in the restaurant.

I ran a bath once back in the room and realised the plug hole is literally filled with other people's hair 🤢 (the pic doesn't show how much is actually in there)

Would you complain?

I wouldn't even have noticed. I can't believe you took a close up photo of a plughole with a few strands of hair at the top. If that's all you can find wrong with the room, you're doing well. And with the plug in, what does it matter anyway?

£150 for your room, treatment and food. That’s a very cheap spa hotel.

yes, I know that others have slept in the bed before me, but to ME the bath is more gross!

How does the plug work? If it's the old fashioned style with a plastic plug on a chain then YANBU for noticing but OTT in your reaction. If you've unscrewed one of the push down ones, then that's slightly crazy and does read like you're searching for reasons to complain. I also wouldn't be expecting the chambermaids to unscrew the cap to clean hairs very often, they don't have that kind of time.

That's cheap for six people. Just pop plug in the bath and have a bath. It's literally something I've never checked. Why would you. Take it rest of bath and room clean. You Abit strange re this and ott

Get a grip. Thers a bit of hair in the plughole (and you've dismantled the plug to take that photo!). You're being totally unreasonable and I think you know that. Are you going to try and do a sneaky false complaint to the hotel to try and claim compo?

I hate to break it to you but all baths and showers will have hair lurking under the plughole.

We have once of those push down plugs in our bath and every month or so I remove it and use a brush to pull out a huge wad of hair lurking just below the plug.

That sounds quite budget for 6 people for all that. Is the rest of the room clean? I assume so as you’re only talking about the plug hole.

Where on earth did you get a hotel for a night food and treatment for 150e?
I went to our local spa during week ( had vouchers from Xmas so treated myself) treatment alone for 2 hours was 150e and I got one hour to use the facilities. it was fabulous 👌

It does seem like you have kind of gone looking for something as it seems to be a pushdown down plug that you would have to pull out.

Also agree £150 each is very cheap and would love to know where this is?

I’d not worry about a hair in the plug hole

just worry about how they clean the cups and teaspoons in the room - that you’ll never know
