Clark’s school shoes

Bought 7yr old DD school shoes from Clark’s for the beginning of the school year. They’re already really scuffed, she’s always had Clark’s shoes and they’ve lasted her the whole school year so disappointed we’re not even halfway through the school year and these ones are so worn out. Do you reckon I would be able to go into Clark’s and
ask for a replacement pair or will they laugh me out the shop?!

90 days is the accepted industry reasonable life of shoes so they are very unlikely to do anything.

If they are scuffed then they are being kicked against something or isn't a fault.

Dd always had patent leather and ds always had roll front shoes for this very reason. Scuffing after 6m is normal wear and tear if she is doing normal playground stuff. A Sharpie pen was always useful under renovating polish for disguising scuffs.

Scuffing after six months is very normal. I'd be more worried if they weren't scuffed, to be honest - I'd be wondering why my child wasn't playing and messing their shoes up.

Do you polish them regularly? It does help. We do DD's once a week. It covers the scuffing and protects the leather generally.
