Posting here for traffic but also, Aibu to expect to accrue holiday whilst off sick?
I had 2 periods of sickness last year (May & October) for neuro related issues.
I took my remaining accrued holiday last week to use it up before end of March.
Turns out the last time I was off, I didn't accrue any holiday for the whole time (8 weeks)
But looking at my holiday schedule, the time I was off in May, I did accrue.
I am on a zero hour contract. My HR manager is saying the law changed for zero hours and the only holiday accrued is 12.07% of hours worked.
If this is correct, why did I accrue the first time I was off? (I have asked this question, waiting for a reply.
Is anyone able to give me some advice/info as I can't really find anything concrete on Google.
