To ask for your Chinese order

Pretty certain that 99% of households order the same thing each time, and I’d like inspiration to branch out and become the 1%!

In my household:

Special chow mein
Chicken with ginger and spring onions
Crispy shredded beef
Egg fried rice
Seaweed
Veg spring rolls
Tub of satay sauce!

Salt and chili squid or prawns
Sweet and sour prawns
Chicken and cashewnuts
Egg fried rice
Spring rolls

Recently tried the salt and chili chicken wings. Delectable!

Char Siu double cooked pork

Don't see any Irish folks on yet to say 'spice bag' (crispy chicken, chips, onions and Peppers with salt and chili spice). Always features on an order from the Chinese.

Yummo. I love crispy duck pancakes too but only get that if I'm celebrating because it's pricey!

Salt and pepper shrimp and black bean scallops are new favorites I discovered after forcing myself to try something new!

Any recommendations if I really like the taste of hoisin sauce? I want something similar and prefer chicken

@Klone OMG I want spice bag! I think in UK we call it salt and pepper chips, but I love Irish potatoes so yours is probably better. I've never actually seen it in my area under any name. Gutted!

@PawsisShady The duck with pancakes comes with hoisin sauce. You can order it as a seperate sauce I guess. Get salt and pepper chicken wings or shredded crispy chicken, chicken balls and dip them in it?

We usually order:

Black pepper or satay sauce

Sometimes we add in an extra vegetable dish (kung po or szechuan) and then there are more leftovers. We usually have whats left for lunch the next day topped up with something from the freezer if needed (eg spring rolls).

Between 3 of us we usually get,

Boiled rice
Chips
Pancake roll
Chicken balls
Curry sauce

I do love a beef, chicken or king prawn curry, bbq spare ribs in peking sauce chow mean and singapore noodles but we rarely order them. Need to change things up a bit and try more!
