Recommendations for kitchen knives please

Need to replace mine but just would like recommendations. Not too expensive.

Have a look in TKMaxx they do get some of the more expensive German brands in at good prices ie WMF Zwilling and Henkles, also did see a few (but limited sizes) Global

We splashed out £130 on these 4 years ago, along with a sharpener from the same make, and still love them. I am in my 50s and have never paid that much for knives before, and they really make the job easier.

Something like this is also good for storing them Knife block.

the knives are sharp so are hand washed and returned to block straight after use.
