Did a top up shop earlier, just of the bits we’ve run out of.

4 x toilet rolls
Sink unblocker

One of the big four supermarkets. How much do you think it would cost? I was really surprised.

I was going to say £30-35. Sink unblocker is expensive, and toilet rolls have gone right up in price.

Meatballs with hidden veg?

When I started uni many moons ago my Mum told to average a £1 an item to give you a rough idea.

I would now work on £2 an item so for 14, it would be £28, so £30 isn't too far out of that (especially with the sink unblocker)

I can't guess; I don't buy artificial man-made food like marg & "meat"balls.

Don't buy sink unblocker, soda crystals do the job very cheaply. Better still, don't let the sink get blocked. Get one of the things with tiny holes to cover the outlet, & don't put any food, or especially fat, waste down the plughole.

The “holier-than-thou”ness is absolutely dripping out of this post. It’s not that they thought “meh don’t eat this can’t guess”, they had to post to specifically point out the rubbishness of OP’s food choices! Brilliant
