To think people are more nasty on here?

Than other places online? Maybe because it's anonymous? For example I can post a photo of say a room in my home on here and it will have very few positive comments, and lots of very nasty ones. I post the same photo on a Facebook group and it's a very different response. It's like people are purposely disagreeing with you or looking to be able to tear you down? Don't get me wrong, there are some lovely posters on here but I've found some very spiteful ones too.

I think some posters can forget that there is another person at the other end of the comment reading it and how it might make them feel.

There is a world of difference between a person who "feigns niceness to you face and is spiteful behind your back" and someone who is tactful or kind. On the other hand many honest, tell it like it is folk just enjoy being nasty to people but they can't take it in return that's for sure.

Yes. I find myself getting called rude and stuff a lot, in real life I'm lovely! I guess it's easy to misread stuff or take it the wrong way online

@happyelmodance facebook is more click and scroll where as on here is more focused on debating

In my opinion its possible to have different opinions, tastes, preferences and budget without being snobby about lower budget shops. ...

But i suppose it fits in with a sort of superiority complex that I've noticed a lot on MN
