Not aibu just intrigued. This thread was done on here ages ago and it was so fun. I have two:

Pasta is gross, I'll eat it but its not delicious as people make it out to be its cold slimy dough.

I'm sure she's nice but Beyonce is overrated.

Elf on the Shelf should just die. It’s creepy, lame behaviour management (bribery) and another outlet for competitive parenting.

I love Peppa Pig, I would secretly watch the end of the episode when my daughter was already out of the room. And forget to leave and watch the next one too...

Bananas are the worst tasting food out there. The texture, the smell, everything about them just makes me feel ill.

But its not an unpopular opinion that Peppa Pig is a great and hilarious show!
Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom was great, too.

Agree about the annoying pockets thing on dresses and skirts. The pockets on those items would rarely be secure or deep enough to trust putting phone and/or purse in, unlike pockets in trousers which are generally tighter to body and work better for that reason.

But "does it have pockets" seems to be the first thing asked, even for evening dresses, which would be ridiculous. The pockets movement is so irritating.

I think that all tattoos look hideous (wouldn't judge anyone who had one and tell all friends/family who have them how great they look etc...).

Cockapoos / Goldendoodles etc are overrated and it’s ruining decent breeds like Spaniels and Retrievers with a bloody awful one, sorry to anyone who likes them 😂

Lurpak is vastly overrated and is only popular because the Danish producers spend millions on marketing it.

YES! Why do people like it? I love real butter, except for bloody lurpak which tastes greasy and bland with a weird slightly mechanical flavour, like it should be used to grease car engines. Yet in any supermarket half the butter display is different varieties of lurpak so it must be popular. Bleh.

Oh god, my friends are currently planning a weekend in Lisbon with DH and I. I'm going to have to make sure I have complete control of the choice of hotel. Anything you can remember about it? That's the stuff of nightmares - a bit like this:

Had a transparent bathroom in a Novotel once. It had a button to turn the wall opaque.

Primary school birthday parties. The biggest cause of playground fall outs (and that’s just the parents). They are expensive and wasteful and if anything good is to come out of the current cost of living crisis it will be the end of trampoline/soft play centres.

Veganism is a crock of shit, it is unhealthy for the body and a reason for people to be sanctimonious.

Cats are far superior to dogs, both in intelligence and in affection. If a cat loves you, you know they love you. A dog's 'love' is just dependency. Plus there are no dangerous breeds of cats. I don't actually dislike dogs, believe it or not. I just don't understand this country's obsession with them.

The Beatles are the most overrated band ever. Again, I don't dislike them but they were not the most amazing band in the world and I have no idea why they have the reputation that they do. It is a bafflement I will take to my grave.

Us too. DH went through a stage of narrating our lives as the shows narrator, and doing that 2 notes sound when things go wrong, you'll know what I mean if you know the show. Example - 'Mummy pig does not like it when Daddy pig leave the tea bag on the counter' etc. Once we were away in a restaurant, our kids weren't even bloody there and he did the 'Daddy pig does not like broccoli' or whatever. That's when we decided it was a step too far and had to stop!!

About 90 % of dog owners (or more) in this country shouldn't be allowed to have them.
