Not aibu just intrigued. This thread was done on here ages ago and it was so fun. I have two:

Pasta is gross, I'll eat it but its not delicious as people make it out to be its cold slimy dough.

I'm sure she's nice but Beyonce is overrated.

Dog owners are awful. Not all of them. But the ones with the untrained high energy yappy annoying dogs that run over to you at the park because they have 0 recall and the owner thinks strangers like having some dog jump all over them. We don’t. I don’t care if “he’s friendly” not everyone likes dogs and it scares my children.

also cyclists. Again not all of them but a majority are absolute wankers and ignore their traffic lights that tell them to stop (where I live we have cyclists traffic lights that are supposed to let people walking cross the roads and cycle lanes safely before traffic resumes). Many times me and the children have had a near encounter with a cyclist

Having kids, with all the trouble they bring and what you lose isn't actually worth it after all.

I think that Martin Lewis is insufferable.

It's always after some ridiculous scenario. If you've been affected by anything in the programme (you know, this one you just watched in which one character tried to poison a clown but was chased off a cliff by a crazed pig before they got the chance) please phone this number for help, and I'm like...who the fuck is calling and who is answering?

Fruit pastilles - the green ones are the best

Lurpak is vastly overrated and is only popular because the Danish producers spend millions on marketing it.

And ‘hygge’ (same root as ‘hug’ incidentally) was simply a very clever marketing ploy, to get people to think they couldn’t be warm and cosy without buying even more throws and candles etc. than they’d probably have bought anyway.

Baseball caps - I have an absolute visceral hatred of them and totally judge the wearer (unless they’re playing baseball, and even then…) bloody horrible things.

I’m a dog loving vegetarian but I agree. What is the difference. They all feel pain and fear and are sentient beings. Just maybe not as cute as a chicken 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kids under 10 year olds don't need mobile phones and no there not missing out on socialising unless they have one. They are missing out on being a child if they are glued to a phone constantly. Seeing 7 and 8 year old kids walking out of school, ignoring friends whilst glued to tik too etc is really quite sad.

Olivia Coleman is a dreadful actress who always plays every part exactly the same. I’m sure she’s a nice person. Just not a great actor. I don’t get the fuss.

Going to the hairdresser is such a tedious, joyless process. I have to force myself to make an appointment. It’s not relaxing and ‘pampering’. It’s boring as hell. The inane chat, the uncomfortable seats, the neck breaking basins. I’d love to find a hairdresser who is reserved and quiet. She can go about the business of sorting my hair and I can read in peace.

And I’m never happy with the result.

Like who the fuck cares where I'm going on holiday, just clear out my split ends and take half this months salary for the privilege, don't add insult to injury by bloody talking to me as well. Seriously I feel like "hairdresser with no small talk" could be a business idea that would make an absolute killing....

Friends was as boring as hell. Jennifer Anniston is a B rate actress. I don´t like dogs. Sex and the City was as unbearable as its protagonists. Hugh Grant was wet wet wet. Rice dishes are meh. NO time for Tik-Tok or those two a penny influencers. And I viscerally can´t stand Nicholas Cage (although I understand this opinion is becoming more mainstream). Can´t stand series like Game of Thrones or the Hunger Games and similar. Total shite.

Some salons now offer a “silent” option when you book! I’m a hairdresser and I inwardly do a happy dance when a client gets their laptop or book out so I can actually concentrate on my job instead of trying to keep up the inane chat. Some of us are introverts! ☺️

I like the Royal Family, too, but i'm completely ambivalent about Harry and Meghan.

I don't know why she inspires such hatred from people. 🤷🏻‍♀️
