(TMI/NSFW) really embarrassed

Sorry a bit TMI! I have been told I have a tilted cervix and really struggle to get smear tests etc as a result.

Tonight my partner and I were having sex and he lifted my feet up onto his shoulders so obv he ended up very deep. As soon as he did this it felt a bit uncomfortable but okay and then suddenly as he thrusted i had one really sharp stabbing pain. I honestly felt like I’d been shot.

I don’t do very well with deep insertion buuut.. This has rarely happened before. I started crying instantly because of the shock and I’m super embarrassed (though DP was really good about it).

Does this sound normal for someone with a tilted cervix or should I go see a gyno??

On another note, I often wonder if positions such as the one you describe are for his pleasure, yours or both.

I think that’s normal whenever your cervix is suddenly hit with force, whether or not you have a tilted cervix or not (which is not terribly uncommon). Sounds like he just hit it at an unfortunate angle. I do not have a tilted uterus and have experienced pain at certain angles too.

In my case, definitely both! With the right partner it's bloody good.

So depending on the size of the guy that position is risky on the other hand with girl on top I’ve been able to have the most amazing orgasms as I’m in control of the pressure applied to my cervix 😆
