Just after some advice about CMS service. I registered online and it has gone through all the 3 stages including contacting the parent, and now I have been given my generated maintenance payment per month (which is terrible). 150 a month given my ex earns over 35k but hasn't been declared as he is self employed and most tax avoided.
Anyway. First question, do they go this far down the application to process it without the other parent knowing?
Also, can they deny collect and pay request straight away without any reason? I wanted collect and pay from day one as my ex went back on a private agreement by reducing payments hugely and was late each month laughing each time i asked and calling me desperate, then would label the transaction 'mums bonus' to mock me. I just needed him to be out of the control, it wasn't necessarily all about the amount he paid so went to cms.
But now im in the cms pool they said I can't be on pay and collect unless he defaults with them on direct pay which is technially what i had. The application made me believe if he broke down a private arrangement I was able to do collect and pay, now so disappointed as I've gained nothing using the service just more stress :(
