Son ripped his school coat today and I don't have the money right now to pay for a new one 😫

Can this be stitched or not? Because of the material type I'm not exactly sure and don't want to make further damage!

I am dyspraxic and rubbish with sewing, etc. I would hand this in to my local seamstress, as professional mending is still cheaper than a new jacket.

You've just reminded me that I need to organise this for my daughter's North Face puffer!

Seriously, what have you to loose by having a go? If you teach yourself now then the next time it happens you'll be able to do it quicker and neater

You can sew! Follow a YouTube. Honestly I’d never sewn anything and I made a Roman blind with about 6 different stitches. I had to keep googling how to do each but slowly and surely I did it!
