If someone was bent forward like that with their head cranked round to look over their shoulder, their neck would be in a different position and their facial muscles wouldn’t be so relaxed.

The could be sat upright and looking to the side in a relaxed way, but not bent forward (see the position of the right shoulder).

So it’s the super relaxed facial expression that is making it uncanny valley.

They all have that lifeless smile and vacant looking eyes.

The body looks more like a slightly tubby 30yo man. It may be the angle though.

I’ve generally been able to tell when something is AI generated if there’s a human involved.
The skin colour is also…oddly shaded.

Give it five years: you won't be able to tell the difference.

It will even be able to spoof videos.

Not sure what will happen to social media then: a video used to be proof of something, very soon we will just assume all pictures and videos are fake.
