To ask about vinegar

I’ve bought some white vinegar with the view to using it for cleaning. I’ve googled it but am finding a lot of conflicting information and am getting confused.

I wonder if anyone here uses vinegar for cleaning and can advise what you clean and whether you mix it with anything?

I was thinking of cleaning the inside of windows, mirrors, also shower screen, can you use it for general cleaning such as the sink or is it just for glass?

I mix vinegar, washing up liquid and water in a spritzy thing and use it for general cleaning.

The vinegar helps get rid of limescale marks, and reduce streaking on windows and mirrors.

I am in a hard water area, and every now and then wrap the taps in vinegar soaked paper towels and leave them to do their work. I have also used vinegar on baking soda to clean the oven as it fizzes and I use vinegar in cleaning windows. Don't use it for general cleaning so much.

Yea I live in a really hard water area, I use it as a fabric conditioner, even do a final rinse of my hair with it, clean windows with it ✨

I use white vinegar to get rid of and prevent musty smells in clothing.

My clothes occasionally have that slightly dungeon-y smell from taking too long to dry, or they're a bit musty from being in the wardrobe for a long time. I wash them at the highest possible temperature in 500ml of white vinegar then immediately wash them again in a mixture of normal detergent and bicarbonate of soda.

I also use a small amount of white vinegar in the rinse cycle of a normal wash to prevent musty smells and soften fabrics.
