Its my weekend as well, if he goes to the pub, i'll be stuck in the house all day with ds (3).
Him and 2 pals are out in the garden just now clearing it and filling a skip with the crap. He thinks that therefore he can go to the pub, eh no, don't you want to spend any time with us!
He would probably come back around 6ish and fall asleep on the couch.
Breathe, breathe, breathe!
Please don't shout at me.

Why don't you make a compromise, and say can you come back for 3.30 or something so we can do stuff together. Do you never go out with a friend?

I think going to the pub is fine, as long as its not all day and he doesn't come back hammered.

well is it because he wants to thank his mate for helping him clear the garden?
Can't you compromise and go to a family friendly pub and you all go?
why does him going mean you are stuck in all day anyway? Can't you and ds go out on your own?

Not because he want's to say thanks, we are skint this week (this is always skint week before payday)
Anyhow, I am now going as well, my mum is going to watch ds for a couple of hours
